About me

Hi, I’m Caroline. I’m a third-generation Oxonian, or native of Oxford, with connections to both the town and the university (gown). With my personal experience and family history, I offer a range of tours which give you exciting insights into the history of Oxford and life here today from a unique and very local perspective. I have an enormous passion and love for the city of my birth and upbringing, and I love sharing this experience with both local people and visitors.

I have a History degree and a post-graduate diploma in Heritage Interpretation. I have been both a teacher of teenagers and adults and worked in publishing at Oxford University Press. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills. My tours are well researched, informative, lively and interesting.

If you are interested in doing one of my tours, please get in touch.
